The University Career Center (UCC) is pleased to present the 2007 Internship Fair. This event provides an excellent opportunity for employers to meet and visit with students about their experiential learning opportunities and their organizations. Students enjoy learning more about a variety of internship opportunities, while employers meet potential candidates for their internship positions. Students from all majors and academic levels are encouraged to attend both the Internship Fair and Intern Panel to receive insight on important information to help them enhance their career development.

Students, employers, faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to attend the Internship Panel as well being held from 3:30pm until 4:00pm. This event allows students to receive information from University of Kansas students who have participated in past internships. Panelists will share information about their internship experiences, offer advice to future interns, and answer questions related to their experiences.

STUDENT INFORMATION Are you interested in participating in experiential learning opportunities, enhancing your resume, or networking with employers? Attend the University of Kansas Internship Fair and meet with local and national employers to learn about the exciting opportunities and internships they have to offer in a variety of areas. Attending students should bring copies of their resume, dress in business attire (see link), and prepare to make a positive lasting impression on participating employers. Arrive early to hear past interns share information and answer questions about their internship experiences during the Intern Panel session. Students who have successfully completed an internship who are interested in participating as a member of the panel should contact Erin Wolfram at (785) 864-7676 or ewolfram@ku.edu.

EMPLOYER INFORMATION The Internship Fair provides an opportunity for employers to promote experiential learning opportunities and connect with potential future interns. The event is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines interested in pursuing internships that will help them with their career path. Fair participants are encouraged to provide general information about their organization including materials highlighting internship opportunities. Each organization will have an assigned table to display information and interact with students. Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet qualified, potential future interns!!! Employers interested in registering for the event should complete the online registration form. Space is limited, so register early!!! Exhibit Fees include exhibit table and parking for one vehicle:

  • Early bird rate: $50 per table
  • Rate after September 4: $60 per table
  • Fee for non-profit organizations: $15 per table
  • Non-profit after September 4: $25 per table
